< my son also has strep ATM, been staying home with him for the past 3 days. I go get the kids i babysit then come back home to nurse the poor thing...then again i like it that way he does not talk as much

< I can even swallow things again. You never know how great being able to swallow your own saliva until you can't do it anymore. I seriously had to spit it in something; it was so fucking disgusting. They did say it was one of the worst cases of it so far this season.

< The shots were the easy part. I was just hurting really bad. I haven't ever had it so bad that the spots were bleeding. The spots are going away, but my throat burns when I drink stuff because now they are just like open.

< They did give me some steroids though to give me a boost. Just so you know flu season just started so be prepared.
