Not a fan.  Hats say "I care just enough about how I look to cover up my laziness"; unless of course the hat in question is a top hat or some sort of utility hat (hard hat, helmet, ear warmer, etc.).  I say go all the way or not at all.  My opinion matters, of course.

Top hats are cool. Period.

Either way, hats are "Covering up lazyness"? It's just a step from "Clothes exist only because people who don't work out want to hide their lousy bodies from sight". 
Plus, it was raining. Makes it utility hat.

Now that you mention it, I think I own that same hat... As for the women in hats argument, no opinion. Unless it's a baseball cap, then you're just begging me to take it off you and toss it down a well or something. Nothing says "I have no sense of taste, style or independent thought" like a baseball cap...

I attend ASU, the premier "party school" in the US.  I get it.  Fun fact: down here they say "brah." 

God I feel terrible, every time I post here I end up derailing a thread.  Here is a picture of me and a couple of my homies chillin' at Disneyland for a wedding in 2009 as recompense.  Since my beard wasn't born yet, I feel obliged to tell you that I'm the one trying to pose and lmao at the same time and failing.  If only the groom had selected top hats as accessories...

Meh, I have a hat like that plus 2 fedoras that I wear with a pair of blue blockers and $10 goodwill suits every time I go out on the town, so I think those kinda hats rock.
