'lo all.

Been on box for about 5 months, just started actively reading/posting in the forums. I'm 19, and I've been watching anime on and off for the past 10 years, only recently (past couple of years) realizing that it was a niche preference and that watching it is weird (my family approaches anime like it's an imaginary friend I never grew out of..."Ohh...That's nice, John; now go wash up for dinner")

elfen lied is a bit overkill for that

i prefered to use the fun of making them sit through the first ep of baccano which starts off with a cute little girl and a man talking and the first ep they get around to showing the clip of that kid getting his face shotgunned off

Why not? I got tired of her "anime is for kids" attitude. You should have seen her face, she was in a bad mood all day after.... hehehehe.... Anyway now anime is not for kids animore, now it is a "perversity"..... next time she calls plain anime a perversity, I should show her a few eps of Discipline.

Elfen lied good one . But i prefer showing them Grave of the fireflies. Making them cry and depressed is way more fun.

Hello, I'm a 26 year old from Australia but currently living in the US of A. Just recently gotten back into Anime after not being into it for a while. Happy to see Macross and Evangelion putting out more stuff, now just need another season of Ranma 1/2.
