i normally don't list any spoilers but shippuuden is retarded. i don't respect the show and I doubt anyone is really crushed by what I posted. the episode really had one or two minutes of action that they stretched out and had a lots of standing around and talking. another sucky episode.

They draw out a lot of the content but sometimes that's just how it is in the manga. I'm pretty sure ep. 20 went at right about the same pace as the manga did. I thought it was good.

I can understand everyone losing their patience and I do a lil too, but if you go into each episode being super critical with a bad mood how could you possible hope to fully enjoy the show? After all it's just a show. Right?...

it's a lot slower, and its only about 1 chapter AGAIN for this episode.
It was so bad though, but it wasn't good.

Sasori also seemed better in the manga, since sakura and chiyo didn't see his left arm coming in the manga, they saw it when it was right beside them, and in the anime he stood still and waited before launching it, which didn't feel especially cool imo.

i don't think i'm being super critical. i'm just watching it like any other anime and it's pacing is a joke. a cruel joke on naruto fans.

Agreed. Generally, I leave the manga be when an I find an anime I'm fond of (Until the anime ends, rather), so it doesn't ruin the experience or anything, but this is just getting freaking ridiculous. The only reason I haven't just grabbed the manga is because I'm too lazy to download each chapter individually.

This pacing is killing me, it's horrid. We're also going to have to see the rest of the Team Gai vs Doppleganger Team Gai, so expect another 3 episodes to be meaninglessly extended.

hey, downloadanime.org has the naruto scanlations. you can read it right off their site. they have up to volume 32. it's only slightly ahead of where the anime is at now. i'm going to read a couple volumes cuz I find it hard to believe the manga is as bad.

the part where they were dodging all of the poison needles, but it's only a few frames in the manga so there's nothing really wrong with drawing that out a couple secs.

Yeah, 20 was actually pretty decent...cept for the needle part. Hopefully episode 21 gives us the much needed action we deserve after waiting for 2-3 months.

The creator is too scared of having Naruto kill someone, or having to kill off one of his ten thousand characters, it annoys me.
Chouji should have died. Puppet-man should have died. Gaara should be dead. Then this anime would have my interest again.

Hmm, forgot about them.
But somehow with all these deaths, Naruto still hasn't killed anyone.
Also, no important characters have died. (Hokage doesn't even count as an important character. I mean a main character)
