Hmm, forgot about them.
But somehow with all these deaths, Naruto still hasn't killed anyone.
Also, no important characters have died. (Hokage doesn't even count as an important character. I mean a main character)

I'm pretty sure Naruto killed the dude whom was made to look like Itachi....unless that guy was already dead.

Regardless, it looks like you probably will have to quit the manga because that's exactly what I thought right away too when I saw that Sharingan eye.

don't know if it was lowered expectations or what but I kind of liked the double episode that just came out. i mean the story didn't progress foward at all so it's still drawn out but I thought it was actually pretty good despite that.

I have to say last episode, the special was good, hopefully a taste of things to come. The scenes where naruto and kakashi show up are deffinetly crap though.

Well, it's not "totally" filler. It's technically part of the storyline but they are drawing it out a tad bit. Only a tad bit though. I think it's OK for them to draw it out a little though.

I'm looking at the gap between the anime story and the manga story and it's gotten quite large. Sooo many things have happened

What that means is that if they keep this part of the storyline slow, they won't have to slow down the storyline once the REAL action begins

I guess yeah...seems like it's from the movie. Sometimes, when they do this stuff, it's because Naruto's about to get a new opening theme song. I could be wrong tho.

that guy vs guy part made me lol hard. I find it amazing that they could reuse the same sequence 5 times in a row.
