I liked this episode, was pretty nice, the new OP/ED are nice as well, especially Tenten in the ED was really cute and hot :)
the all ED looked like a dance floor, really cool practice Dojo :D

I agree good episode (for filler anyway), but the next one looks pretty bad. I wonder how many more fillers we're gonna get? I can't really tell by the episodes title alone, but episode 182's (click to show/hide)Gaara 'Bonds'so filler or not I'll enjoy it I'm sure.
I don't like the ED song but the animation was good.

Ignore Havok's Naruto knowledge. I've argued with him a lot before as well. His statements are full of fallacies at times and opinions stated as truth. It's the former that I have a field day with on.
Both of you should realize that Pain was sent to konoha because konoha was THAT strong. It states several things.
1. Under Tsunade's leadership, konoha's safety was on par if not better than "normal"
2. Arguments should be based on how well the other Hokage's would have handled it. Under Minato, Kyuubi gave the village a nice flattening as well.
3. Technically Orochimaru fucked over the whole village when he invaded konoha. He just didn't flatten it to the same level as Pain. Had Orochimaru had more power like pain (in the sense of more autonomous movement individuals) he easily could have flattened the village under Sarutobi's rule.
Note also: If Tsunade was not Hokage, she would have no affiliation with konoha. Sakura would be piss weak, Medical ninjutsu would be on a lower level overall in Konoha. Also, AFAIK, Akatsuki entered Konoha on occasion under Sarutobi's rule.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jiraiya AND Kakashi refused role of Hokage. Kakashi claiming inability, Jiraiya refusing to give up his freedom. Don't give me the "Kakashi wasn't strong enough" bullshit either. That was discussed a few pages back. If you want to discuss it, go suck a dick instead.

Something intrigues me... Konoha is always under attack of ONE individual (ok, pain had 6 bodies, but doesn't really matter).
Gaara, Orochimaru, Pain, Madara (with kyuubi) in the past.
If Konoha was so strong and all, why not go full out against it? Like, making it go herpderp with, you know, AT LEAST THE WHOLE AKATSUKI and be done with it. :S Especially if they were expecting to capture, oh I don't know, just the strongest bijuu of them all?
Feels kinda stupid - all this one-man-band bad guys. Not to mention no good character ever dies. Shonen mangaka could use some more fresh approach, revolutionize the genre a bit.
Or I am watching all the wrong shonen anime? Bleach and NS are real herpderps.

Wait what? You forget about Jiraiya, Kakashi (albeit he got revived), Sandaime and Azuma?
