What would you recommend for the quoting? :P

I'm merely arguing against the idea fillers progress story and are referenced again as someone has hinted at. They're not a part of the proper whole. It's a side issue that will fade away, like acne on someone's face that will disappear in a while. It's rare that filler will actually have anything that is part of the actual intent of the story....... or maybe I've been watching naruto and bleach too long.

99% of filler is agonizing
1% of filler is actually palatable

Don't tell me the curry of life, Bikochu/Bikochumo and the lochness Orochimaru test subject are actually useful references.

0v0? That's mean. You should at least know that you yourself are not worthless. 1v0 at the bare minimum, no? ;)

I can agree with that. Most of the filler memories will soon disperse. That 189 I'll never forget though.

However i would divide it like this.
73% of filler is agonizing
25% of filler is debatable
2%   of filler is palatable

Don't tell me the curry of life, Bikochu/Bikochumo and the lochness Orochimaru test subject are actually useful references.
curry of life: Was funny (in a dimwitted way), so I'll let it slide
Bikochu/Bikochumo: Fail, cause they tried to integrate that into the story in very bad way. (Finding Sasuke with that ass-bug)
lochness Orochimaru: Fail, but at least debatable.

0v0? That's mean. You should at least know that you yourself are not worthless. 1v0 at the bare minimum, no? ;)

the lochness Orochimaru test subject
What was that about? The first filler arc after 135 in the old Naruto series?

We were talking about the Three-Tails Arc.
Although it's indeed more accurate to call it the "Nessie-Arc"

I haven't watched Naruto in a while, since ep 182 to be precise. Which I stopped watching in the middle thinking:
"Fuck this, I have tons of, potentially, better shit to watch."

So I was gonna ask if the fillers were over now but since you guys are still talking about fillers, it seems they're not. So, is there an end to them in sight? From looking at the list of episodes it doesn't seem so, although it's kinda hard to tell with just the titles.

Anyway, are any episodes after 182 worth watching? Like a really funny one or some cool fight maybe. I'll probably watch the 2 Gutsy Master ones(187&188), Jiraiya-sama's in those right?, and 191 - Kakashi Love Song. Hopefully, they're at least decent.

Not particularly, no.
Anyway, thanks! I'll go watch 186 right now.

EDIT: Well, I just finished watching it and it was... ok I guess. Why did you recommend that one in particular?

It's got some cool fights, and I had a laugh watching it. Sorry if it wasn't what you were after. Then you probably shouldn't bother with the other fillers, IMHO.

Plus nice animation, and it features Rock Lee. I just felt it had a more serious tone to it than the other fillers.

Fights? But yeah it was a good one and I did laugh a few times. I guess I was expecting more since you said "definitely".

But no need to apologize, in the end, I'm gonna end up watching them all anyway. :)

It was just the only one I've personally enjoyed watching and would watch again. :P

the one with TenTen is defo a good one, an episode about TenTen could never be bad :) even if they tried :)

I thought the premise was pretty bad. It seemed quite cliche. I can't put my finger on what it was similar to, but it looked familiar. Then, the prototypes to the final weapon was ridiculous. The prototypes were cool, the final weapon was like that bumble ball kids toy.

AKA: Ep broke down pretty damn fast.

i thought the reason it was called filler was because it wasnt part of the source material and pretty much bears nothing but to occasionaly help establish a character which is something not done in bleach or naruto. But most of the one piece filler while completely irrelevant to story kinda gets you to know the characters

I've never watched One Piece but I wish all fillers were like that, not just some random crap. Although, I usually enjoy the ones with funny random crap. :)

ive decided to pick Naruto back up after droping it WAAYYYy back when it was originally airing. I think i droped it when Naruto was off training on how to summon frogs or something. Anyway the original series i got the ANbU/AONE versions since thats what i watched back in the day and i recall they were pretty good. For Shippuden though im a bit confused, theres so many groups. The later part it seems like Takka is the way to go.. but what about the first 4 seasons or so? The SD&NB version up here doesn't seem like a good bet, SD is rated mediocre and NB is rated poorly. I was thinking of getting the DVD rips but i hear the english subs are pretty cruddy.

Is Dattebayo the best way to go? I know they aren't uploaded here for some reason, but they seem to be rated quite well for the earlier eppisodes. Hell i honestly dont even see much of a choice for some of the gaps there other than them.  If not are the DVD rips pretty decent? I notice season 3 and 4 arent even up here one way or the other.

*edit* i forgot to ask, but im pretty sure the blu dragon stuff is just direct rips of the R1 dvds right? It doesn't specify but since no subber is credited im guessing they use R1 subs? Their filesizes are rather large

Yeah Dattebayo and Taka are the best choices IMO but I have no idea about DVD rips.

I liked 193, it actually had a somewhat interesting plot. Next week looks funny.

Though I wouldn't complain if we got back to canon, they should have more than enough space between the anime and manga now. 18 eps of fillers not including the bits of canon we got in between the first fillers.

18 so far? Then they will probably add around 6 additional episodes? You know, to conclude two seasons of airing

So yesterday, I went on Taka's site to check their bot lists, to get the filler episodes I haven't watched yet and I saw the Naruto X Uniqlo OVA. I watch it and I thought it was nice but I'm now wondering if anyone knows where it's from, what it actually is and wtf is uniqlo. Is it from a DVD, a game or a manga volume?

Also, I thought it was weird to put a spoiler like that at the end. You know
(click to show/hide)
Well I assume it's them.

And I have no idea about the baby's cry too.

What did you guys think of it?
