Well Bleach aired so I'd guess we probably will, but cant be 100% sure with all that's happening there.

According to a Japanese national PTA initiated survey, One Piece is the most popular single comic series averaged between elementary to middle school children. Furthermore the animation is the 15th most liked OVERALL television program averaged between the same age groups. The most popular reasons given for enjoying the series were, in order from first to third, ‘It’s entertaining’, ‘I can talk about it with friends’ and ‘It relieves stress or lightens my mood’.

The only animation to beat out One Piece in likability was Inazuma 11. One Piece even managed to beat out a cultural icon like Doraemon which was in 16th place. Furthermore, regarding manga series, while Dragon Ball was ranked 15th by ‘What Parents Think Their Kids Like to Read’ it was actually ranked 24th by the children themselves when asked ‘What Comics Do You Like to Read?’

Ranked #15 in ‘What TV Programs Parents DON’T Want Their Children to See’……Naruto

Top 3 Popular Reasons Parent’s Don’t Want Their Children to See Naruto:
1. Too many scenes of cruelty
2. It takes life and death too lightly
3. Harsh language
Amusing.

Well, the non-filler stuff is pretty grim. That's why I love the manga. And only like the anime.

Life? Heroism does not end with life! Just look at the fields before you! Great deeds as ever they were!

Offtopic: How is Bleach ranked?

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Can't say for sure, unfortunately: http://onepiecepodcast.com/blog/2011/03/01/pta-gives-reason-to-praise-one-piece/
I'd be pretty interested in that myself.

It's probably better though since it censors more stuff, and there aren't semi-important characters who are killed off. Although I don't agree with "2. It takes life and death too lightly". The Third, Asuma and Jiraiya, all of them had great moments when they were dying, and I don't feel the picture of death was presented wrongly in any sense that could confuse children. Can anyone shed some light on this if it's me who don't get it? If it does however then they are probably too young to be watching the show, anyway. I mean, you don't put a 8-year old kid in front of the TV to watch Naruto, at least not the uncut version.

I'd say that for some reason the show is becoming gay, I mean, the more they try to convince him to stop, the less human he becomes, and honestly, even if Sasuke does achieve his goal, he avenges his clan and brother, he will find another reason for vengeance, and another, and another, he will never stop, like Madara said, he has become the ultimate Avenger.

ok question ... it just popped into my head as i was going through old manga and anime eps to refresh my memory on some things .... who raised naruto? ... this mostly came to my mind when i was going through old manga -snip- ... who raised him and changed diapers and when did he start to live on his own? did someone just abandon him?

EDIT newy: I'm quite lenient about spoilers from manga but that's a bit too much of information.

I dont think they have ever addressed who took care of him in his infant/toddler years. They just show him living on his own as a young child.

Probably only a few ninjas under direct command of Sarutobi were taking care of him. That is my guess.

204 should be awesome, 203 was definitely also good though a bit lacking in animation quality.

EDIT: Oh, and seems we're getting a new opening and ending from 206.

I hope not, it will add to the drama, and people hate Sasuke anyways, why save a pansy like him anyways ?

yes yes yes indeed, this is what shippuuden's all about. Another episode of epic fighting, great developments and alltogether enjoyable :)

I find it interesting that the Anime version of the fight with that Genjutsu-Kage-Woman differs so greatly from the manga )or does it?).

to be completely honest I dont even remember him dealing with her at all, I had to go back and page through right quick, and it was pretty accurate.

As for the OVA I don't care which one dies, they both die or both live but I'm hoping Sakura dies.... after what Sai told her I was actually very happy he did.
