I think part of that is they're fairly straight out fights, less emotional baggage than the usual. He also isn't stuck doing a few set techniques with little variation all the time.

And he doesn't yell the skill name, at least not very often, I don't really remember him yelling anything like that.

But this fight with Sasuke had more of running around on walls rather than fight....
