In the anime right before the filler starts before naruto sets out to lightning, Sakura says something like "if naruto and sasuke were both injured/dying after their fight, who would I heal first?"
This bothered me, considering sasuke tried to kill her twice & she's been warming up to naruto all this time.

That part is not in the manga though, which for me means its really not part of the real story, I just wish they wouldn't have added that in there. The rest of the added content not found in the manga (lots of convos between the characters) just before this filler started was good and fit into the story, that one part bugged me though :)

I couldn't agree with you anymore... Oh my god, after Sakura said that (to be fair, I already hated her to a extent) I just thought "Wow, Naruto has been there for you since you became a team, always protected you, and did everything for you, and Sasuke, who abandoned you, rejected you, and tried to kill you... which one should you save?" She is such an idiot of a character, she has no real point to the story, maybe she heals someone every now and then, but she never actually fights. Not even with Sasori, that wasn't even her moving, that was Badass Chiyo!

See, this is the kind of filler you should be making. Not only do we get some cool fighting, we also get serious takes on the war. Something I didn't think they would do. Especially that scene with (what's her name?) her seeing that kid who is in danger. Having that kid die in front of her would have been even better. But that might affect her psychologically which they would then need to deal with.

Hell, that wouldn't be Naruto but something even better. Now that I think about most of the anime I like would have been even better being slightly darker.

These fillers are the worst yet, and i've only watched a few of them, i'd rather there be no episodes instead of these fillers, terrible...

As long as there is Temari/TenTen/Ino, i don't mind them :)

I thought 234 was the good kind of filler. I agree with Takeshi. Naruto will have a battle to beat Konohamaru to become Hokage, as it only took one episode for Konohamaru to learn a very imp0ortant lesson, one that Shikimaru learned only recently. Good trait to have in your leaders, no?

I was getting to feel about as joyful over more time at sea as Guy sensei. whew

So has it been said when the filler ends?

I was really enjoying it, but I dont think I've watched an episode for months now because they have gotten so bad.

There were 2 decent filler eps, the one where Konohamaru breaks out rasengan, and the one with the girls of konoha going out drinking/eating together. The others were trash.

I watched the first 4 minutes of this weeks & gave up.

Uhh the manga/real story coming up is so good, and theres PLENTY of it out now so that filler wont be an issue for a long time, so whats the hold up??

I hate fillers. but naruto shippuuden is definitely better then naruto. I'm just waiting for the rest of manga to turn into an anime... it's just so interesting.. I love it^___^ Masashi Kishimoto is a genius.. but the fact is that naruto is based of Japanese legends, that's why it's so popular... hope it will never end xDD

the only filler that i really liked was with the kid called yuukimaru if i'm not mistaken, he loved camellias a lot, and also there was a young girl (don't remember her name now) she had a crystal jutsu, and she was the one who killed the mother of that kid (??? am i right?) oh and she once was thought to be the new body for orochi. I guess my memory is truly weak now T_T xD

Yeah that wasn't a filler. It had a plot to the main storyline because of the three tails and learning about the new Akatsuki member.

It'll probably be fillers until the end of the season now, they've done it once before, i'm not sure how far through the season we are, but hopefully it'll continue with the story at the start of the next season...

The sanbi arc was technically filler as its not in the manga. But yes it did bear on the main story, especially since we got to laugh @Tobi acting like an idiot a lot :) But it had the typical filler arc plotline of someone losing someone, learning to care for someone else, ect.

Filler I liked, hmm, can't really think of any atm. I guess in the original Naruto when Sakura and Naruto go off with Jaraiya wasn't terrible, and that chili one after was funny. Oh, the Shippuden filler with Sora turning into a kyuubi clone wasn't too terrible either :)

Small update, according to ANN's Naruto episode page, as Q4 2011 comes to a close, so does this stupid sea adventures filler arc, so new canon episodes starting January 5th.

Could well be. The source says "EPISODE SITE" which isn't too reliable, but it could be anyway. They've sure been doing enough filler eps for the manga to get ahead nicely.

i haven't watched naruto in a few months.  last episode i watched  was when kisame hid himself in samehada and was being carried by killer bee unknowingly.  could someone tell me when the current long filler run started so i don't bother downloading it?  which episodes.  thanks in advance.

Filler keeps going. Just not on the boat anymore.

Did Ino's boobs just shrunk ? cuz that would explain Choji's staring.
