I think the show is going in the right direction, and Sasory vs Sakura granny was a good fight, very entertaining, although they spent too much time in it. The pace keeps shipuuden behind the original, which is a shame.

I think they are gonna keep it like this for a while. Probably they are waiting manga to cover a lot more.

maybe after the manga is 500 volumes ahead the pace will pick up a bit. everyone I know that was a fan of the original Naruto(non-filler) thinks shippuuden sucks balls. i don't know anyone that thinks it's good. it's the worst anime I've ever sat through 27 episodes of. I usually bail on crap like this after only a few episodes cause odds are it's not going to get better. shippuuden is going to be crap the whole way through. we all just keep watching it to get to sasuke which will probably be a let down. this will be my last negative post about naruto I promise. however, how many posts would this thread have if you took out all the negative ones?
