Thank god the manga was good this week . or ill never watch naruto again.
Well new arc in 2 weeks hopefully it gets better now

Or they could've just stuck to the manga plot :/
I dunno if a 1 hour special will be that great, since they totally wasted the entire 20 minutes of episode 28 they can't possibly wrap up every loose end of this story arc in 1 hour. Which means it'll just be more disappointing once the arc doesn't end next week.

i actually enjoyed the shippuuden manga and i was expecting the same with the anime. but, hell, they wasted the plot.
well, i hope they'd IMPROVE with the
(click to show/hide)immortal akatsuki dude vs shikamaru. that was one pretty awesome fight. but who knows? they might waste it again and again... and insert a lot of corny jokes by naruto. fail.

Well yeah I'm hoping that they get all of the slow pace semi-filler trash out of their system before they get to all the great parts of the manga plot. If they have to go even slower than they are now, I'd be willing to cope with that if it meant that once they get to the good story arcs it can be full on high quality.
