better than the original naruto? the original naruto was enjoyable as hell while shippuuden makes me hate myself for watching it. it's crap. we saw hints of this slow mo story telling jumping between several fights going on at once during the Orochimaru attack on Konoha. remember how the Third and Orochimaru were locked in the same position for like four or five episodes in a row. A whole fight would start and finish while they were still in the same position talking to each other. They would show them for a few minutes just to remind everyone they are still fighting in each episode. I remember hating that at the time. The fight was really over, but they just stretched it out FOREVER. So what do they do? They make an entire new Naruto series using that as a template for how they'll tell the story and pace it. They took the worst part of the original non-filler Naruto and are using that as the guide for how they'll make Naruto from now on. F+CKING IDIOTS!

I keep watching because i despratly hope it will improve, but it doesnt seem to be and whats with the decline in the animation too, the clone fights were laughable what was with that scene with gai jumping around in the canyon fighting himself, thought i had downloaded some primary schools art project for a bit. I am getting to the end of my teather with it .
the double episode really disapointed me again, about 2 minutes of worth whiel stuff in it, Kakasi's new ability is pretty cool though
