Dragon Balls. The first one I watched and liked was Gundam Wing many years later.

First ones I watched were dubbed in Cantonese: Arion Movie, Dragonball, and Ai to Yuuki no Pig Girl Tonde Buurin. Then I guess it was Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura.

my first anime was Silver Fang.. it was on vhs in an restaurent.. but was only 4 yers old so it was a bit scary hehe

but got interested in anime arbout 3 yers ago wen one of my friend showed me Onegai twins...

yeah the first anime i ever saw was pokemon.

then it would probably have been digimon...then cardcaptures... god... they all suck now.

I loved those shows... I still do, and I´m hoping I can get Candy Candy somewhere

Well, I cannot remember exactly, but i think it was one between DB, Capitan Tsubasa or Sailor Moon...the first Anime that I really enjoyed watching was Cowboy Bebop and Slam Dunk, they used to show them on MTV in Italy...

As far as I can remember, I think it was Transformers or maybe Ronin Warriors.
Ronin Warriors was on ABC during a summer, I remember I didn't want to go to summer camp because I'd miss it. hehe

I'm pretty sure it was Astroboy, which I watched a lot back when it was on Canadian TV in the early 90's. After that, there was a brief period where we didn't have cable TV, and I think I watched a Robotech video that I rented, thinking it was like Transformers. After that, definitely Samurai Pizza Cats.

It was a long while after that that I found out that those shows were Japanese.

I watched Sailor Moon dubbed on TV in Sweden.
My first fansubbed anime w/ japanese audio was Hellsing, and which is what made me start watching anime.

The first one when I actually knew what anime was, would be Cardcaptor Sakura. When I was oblivious to the fact it was anime (or even had any idea what the hell anime was ;/), it would be Sailor Moon ;x

Mine was Sailor Moon, back then I thought it was pretty interesting and I still kind of think it is not a really bad anime though the most of the episodes' format might pretty much be the same...

Hmmm, I believe my first one was DBZ when I was 8, the episode when Raditz first showed up. I remember thinking WOW this stuff is good (though it took some time to figure out what that show was called, plus I never got to watch it, becasue it was on pass my bedtime

My first was Nadia the Secret of Blue Water http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=40 they aired it in Switzerland around .. no idea must be 1994/95
I watched the second Episode because I zapped in. After that I watched whenever I could. Lately I've watched it again and I still liked it. It wasn't the beginning of my Anime addiction, a friend of mine said I should watch Air TV after that I became more interested in Anime and watched like crazy.

Man, this thread has made me nostalgic. First I ever saw was either Voltes V or Yaiba. Anybody heard of Yaiba? And then
Magic Knight Rayearth after that. I was a small kid then and I'd cry when someone died. xD

Then came DBZ, Sailormoon, Yu Yu Hakusho (I knew it as Ghost Fighter then), Ranma (although it was heavily censored and
cut), Ghost Sweeper (oh man, I loved that series. I have to see if I can find torrents on those. It's about a chick who basically
exorcises ghosts and demons and she has a perv assistant and another female sidekick that's a ghost.), and Ninku (one
of my most favorite-est).

Then came all the others which are honestly too many to mention and remember. Man, those were good times..
