My friend put on urotsukidoji many years back, but it wasn't until a few years ago I watched my first series, Rosario + Vampire.

Marine Boy! Saw it as a very young sprog back in the 60's, though wasn't til early 2000s that I looked it up in a fit of childhood nostalgia & discovered it was anime.

Pokemon or Dragon Ball Z
Soryon:
bubblegum crisis, akira and slayers.
I dont remember which was firwst, but they all came at about the same time.
