I believe my first anime was either the original Dragonball z series, or Sailor Moon
Damn, so long ago I cannot remember.

Bring back the good days of anime, Zoids, pokemon (before it went commercialized crap), digimon, etc etc...

Probably Dragon Ball Z way back in the YTV days. I remember being so excited to see new episodes all the time

Dragonball Z.
That, Gundam Wing, Yu-Yu Hakusho, and Tenchi Muyo all played on Toonami late nights.
Used to stay up and watch them every weekend.

The one that really got me into Anime was Sekirei, though.
Netflix recommended it to me and it quickly became my favorite series.

The first anime I saw was Gundam Wing. I was just mesmerized by the huge and powerful gundams, particularly the death scythe. Later as an adult, with money to spend, i bought the entire series on DvD+ the Endless Waltz. I think, after watching many more anime, that Gundam Wing just was not as good as I remembered.

It was either DBZ or Pokemon, although that was back when I was a kid and didn't know the difference between western cartoons and anime.

The first anime I watched (while conscious of the fact that it was an anime) was most likely Inuyasha. Although it could've been any of the animes that were on Adult Swims lineup in the good ol' days, like Ghost in the Shell or Bleach.

First anime I ever saw was probably My Neighbor Totoro pre re-dubbed. That was before I knew it was anime. Wasn't until about early to mid middle school did I really discover anime with Sci-Fi's saturday morning anime block, then toonami and Encore Action really drove it home for me with GitS, Patlabor and more. Whew those were the days.

Pokemon, Digimon and DBZ was the first i saw because they were on local TV.

The first one I saw deliberately was Steins;Gate and wow that didn’t disappoint.

I watched it 3 months ago and I have watched nothing but anime since

Ohh, I misunderstood. Always thought it was a Finnish production considering the origin (and thereby thought it was weird you said that). Never knew it was an anime, but now I know. Grew up with the series myself actually, I guess that was my first anime too then x3
