First anime you ever saw?? Be honest now!!
Shohei-kun:
Dragonball Z or YuGiOh. I grew up during the original Toonami. If we mean real anime (not dubbed), my first would be Clannad.
micahel90:
ninja robots? in cartoon network? my first real anime was yuyu hakusho. it was on a VCD. a movie. :3
VicViper573:
I think the first ever anime I saw was "Saban's Fairy Tales," but that was before I knew it was anime:

It's actually an obscure anime called "Grimm Masterpiece Theatre" (グリム名作劇場), that was localized in the USA by Saban.
The English dub of the above show is available on bakabt: http://bakabt.me/156542-grimms-fairy-tale-classics-english-dubbed.html
If anyone here was born in the early to mid 1980s, you have probably seen it in some form, along with Tatsunoko's "Lil' Bits," whose original japanese name is "Mori no Yoki na Kobitotachi: Berufi to Rirubitto." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X9Wk6hCois

Anyway, the first anime I ever watched that I actually knew was anime was Cowboy Bebop.
Pimpalicious:
Speed Racer or Voltron, I don't remember which I saw first.
MyonMyon:
Neon Genesis Evangelion.
In retrospect it wasn't such a smart idea but at that time i knew nothing of anime and my friend was reading the manga which he liked.
