And @Kura, You've never had nog? Go try eet, it sounds horrible but the flavor is incredible, especially if you get the right kind =o And not all nog is alcoholic Dx

If it was sold here the price would be a lot different. Shipping costs, add $3, the price of stuff here is double what it is there(which is stupid considering exchange rates) double price, taxes on alcohol add $3, extra taxes on sweet flavored alcohol add $3 and you get something like $18.

Ewwwwwwww, eggnog is gross!  Never understood the fascination with sugar+egg+milk (or is it buttermilk?).  So gross!

How much does a 700ml bottle of cheap spirits from the bottle shop costs in the US anyway?

The closest I've seen to 700 is a 750. For a cheap bottle of 40% (80 proof) alcohol content in that size, purchase price $7-$10 USD.

Just wondering the price difference, most of our spirit are about $30-$50(mostly come in 700ml bottles). Most of that is taxes.

Liquor taxes vary by state. Out where I live, a 750mL bottle of Walker Red would be ~$25, and a 1.75L bottle of Nikolai vodka would run ~$15 (terrible stuff, stay far away).

Well, sadly I've become teachers pet for this next 3 week long project In english class. We will be splitting into groups and making a video with out vocabulary (Skit,etc) and then uploading them onto ipods and taking them to the other classes. The school gave us (32) New ipods for this. My teacher mentioned theres a program that can sync all these ipods with the same data at one time without bieng plugged in, (I laughed and said that was only possible by an act of god) . I was laughing at her in my head. because Ipod video nano's have NO wifi and can only be synced if theyre plugged in... you would have to have loads of usb stations, and your pc would be on the fritz I would imagine (considering she has like a dell from the dinosaur ages). and she asked if WMV would work on ipod! It was well wierd. So, I told her I would encode everything.... You have to be grateful for asian, luckly my friend was able to give me 5 7port usb port stations.

 Why do they even give us this stuff when they dont know how to do it themselves!
Well, it was a good lol and I turned out looking like a smartass -again-

Oh, that's what it was. I was wondering what the ATX Box had to deal with the project your doing. Or, did you need one for it?

I mean, eh, when a uni offers a student an 'exchange program' abroad or something, the uni usually arrange the financial matters.

Its not an exchange, just a visit. The San Francisco one is about £800 and the Berlin one about £300. I could probably afford Berlin but don't know if I should spend the money elsewhere...
