Maybe he was trying to be too gooey.

clearly you didnt get mine :P

ahahaha

Sorry I'm a bit gullible
ncurses, you're too gooey.
you made a joke? ahaha went right over my head. pls explain in great flirtacious/fun detail
It's a pun which would make even the most traditional of Japanese comedians groan in pain.

ncurses is a programming library and API used to develop 'GUI'-like interfaces for programs run in a terminal.

So it should read like so:
(n)curses, you're too gooey(GUI).

My apologies for the dearth of flirtatious fun.  Unfortunately I have a terminal sense of humor.
That's terrible even in the programing world.
FAT chance.
Oh dear god please make it stop

For some reason I keep waking up at 8am, I'm never usually up before 11am.

"Half-eight?! Half-eight?! I've never been up at half-eight! What happens?"

On a uni day its half 6 for me. Today it was half 9 I got up.

half 9 is half before nine (08:30), or half past nine(09:30)? spent 3 years in the UK and I don't remember that ever having been used around me...

Its okay. You got me thinking about it. It also depends on which part of the UK you come from as well I suppose.

I get laughed at for saying breakfast dinner and tea instead of breakfast lunch and dinner but thats just where I come from. Ironic thing is that the girl who likes to take the piss out of me the most has TERRIBLE English skills and has the nerve to say "I dun't speak proper like"

wait... tea's the bit that gets you through until dinner... or thick syrupy black stuff served in cafes around midnight... I thought... LOL... I was out near Ipswitch mostly... and spent a bit of time gamboling about in the east end of London... lot of lovely couches to sleep on in the east end... used to be at least... been 13 years or so since then

See, I'm from further north than that. Originally I'm from a city inbetween Birmingham and Manchester. (When I first moved I got told I sounded Brummie, Liverpudlian, Manchurian, all sorts. Because my city is where it is our accents are messed up as hell. Started to lose it a little now as I've been in Lincoln for over a year now. :)

Rah, I need ways to represent peace...
