I'm going to start my own subbing group. I'm tired of seeing crap encodes (Elfen Lied, AKH=overcropped, BluDragon=downscaled, others=crap) and DVDs that NO ONE touches (Strawberry Panic for example, the TV rips are serious eye cancer).

I don't know scat about encoding... I'll guess I'll learn on the way or die trying at least. Let's see... I give a crap about size, so I'll be aiming for best quality, for sound, the original AC3 on the DVDs will be untouched and copied over, and for subs... that's where I'm lazy, so I think I'll just put VobSubs and SRT.

Now... time to sleep!

I was wandering in AniDB in search for something more to do before going to sleep... when I ended up looking at the releases for Air. I expanded one episode and saw a 1080p release. Cool, someone finally did the 1080p of this... Sakura? What group is that? I checked the files... wait... only 3 files and 4 episodes spanned in each one of them? This looks familiar... LOL, THAT SAKURA IS ME

It was the raws I got some months ago and which I added the subs... ripped from the DVDs, retimed and softsubbed the signs and songs. I completely forgot about that, hehe, someone actually took the time to put the files in AniDB... at least someone liked what I did enough to do that... it's so cute <3

Too bad that my group is Sakura90 (I couldn't use SAKURA as it was already taken). I'll see if I can change that later.

Well, that's a good start ^^

Nice ^^, I'm currently downloading ISOs for volumes 1-3 of SP (5 total). It'll take a while though... 4 days at 60 kB/s. Do you know about encoding and/or softsubbing? (styling and signs, as the subs are the "official" ones).

as long as we try to make everything as PS3 compatible.

The problem with that is... how do I transfer to you 40GB of ISOs?

Money (250 ARS that are ~65 USD), a "Speak Japanese in 15 days" book (it has phrases and words for different occasions), a copybook, a pen, a liquid paper, some pencil leads, chocolate snacks and a pair of I-don't-remember-the-name-in-English things for the feet, like these:

They are... meh. The money and the book are nice at least :3

I check out on leave on Monday. Fly out Tuesday. Flight leaves NRT (Narita Airport) at 4:30pm and arrives at LAX (Los Angeles) at 9:30am the same day. "Let's do the Time Warp again~"

I got a bottle of Eden perfume, various body lotions and the like, some makeup, an a3 portfolio and 30 sleeves for uni, £100 in Argos gift vouchers, £70 in cash, chocolate, an awesome scarf, some DVDs, a geisha money box and a fan notepad.

Some of my relatives had decided that this year I was too old to even buy a card for however.
