Its only an old terrace house, so single glazing for us poor students. But I have solved my problem without turning the heating on. Hoodie AND a jacket.

Aye. Happens. There are old houses here with double glazing only, newest tend to be built with four glasses.
Still it can get cold in here. When it was -30 for a week or so I was damn glad we have a fireplace.
And woollen socks. Thank god for those.

But simple things like wearing flanel instead of cotton kinda eliminate the whole cold issue. If only I had enough money to have more than two flanel shirts. :'(

I have the problem that I overheat very very easily. One minute I'm freezing the next I'm boiling. So I always wear lots of layers because of that. And I hardly ever wear long sleeved tops. I'd die 0_o

Heh, I hate long sleeved shirts usually. I can't stand wearing more than T-shirt. College on top of T-shirt kills me. But there is just something in flanel shirts. They're so comfy. Like you'd be wearing your favourite teddy bear.

I don't know about girls, but here's a tip for guys.
When waking up in the middle of the night to take a leak, rinse your face with some water to wake yourself a bit before relieving yourself , you won't want to be peeing in a half awake state.
Happened to me a few times, was peeing in a half awake state and when I'm done, I found out that either I aimed at the wrong direction or I'm still a few steps away from the toilet bowl.

Girls don't have that problem because we get to sit down. I'd find it harder to find the taps half asleep.

So cold last night. I can see we've had snow again but just can't see how much yet because its so dark still.

Yesterday I spent over an hour shoveling snow in a -20C temperature. And I'll have to do it 3-5 times a week. Last week I was in a hurry but I couldn't get out of my yard because there were too much snow (my yard is a little lower than the road and they had ploughed the road so there was a wall of snow where my car got stuck). If you want snow, come to Finland. Though I understand what you must feel like, I guess you don't get snow that often in Britain.

Nah. It doesn't bother me anyway. Its just my ex was trying to decide whether to get the train home today or not. As he and his macbook are gone I'm guessing he did. Which is awesome sauce because I have the house to myself for over a week. ^_^

Now I just need my chicken strips to cook so my stomach will stop eating itself. T_T
