I didn't like it because the style was too much anime. Yeah, I know it's based on an anime or a manga. But at that time I think it was my first live-action adaptation of an anime and I was used to the western directing style. Maybe these factors made me dislike it.
I have now watched the Nodame Cantabile live-action series and specials, after all. And Kimi wa Petto^^

I think Key Resolve 2010 is the first joint US-ROK exercise that will see two Korean KDX-III destroyers participating. You are looking at world's two most powerful warships.

Ah, what an awesome day. Stayed in bed till midday, played ff8, went to the pub, bought copious amounts of sweets, saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D, then fell asleep in Mat's bed watching Stardust. And now I'm back home, really tired and about to curl up in my own bed. :3

Damn. The DoD must have got something wrong...

And btw, KDX-III is indeed physically a much bigger and heavier stakeholder of firepower and defensive capability than the Ticonderoga-class cruiser in displacement and dimension. And they accommodate a much more extensive array of ESM, ECM, ECCM, ELINT, signal intelligence, surveillance, and stealth technology and twice the anti-ship, anti-air, anti-submarine and point-defense armaments. The naming standard for ROKS and USS is just different. KDX-III's Korean designation 이지스함 cannot be translated into a cruiser-class ship.
