I should stop playing with the D&D character builder and go to bed.
I've also come up with the idea for a story character (no relation at all to D&D). It takes place in a sci-fi setting with supra-light travel. The main character is a young girl (frozen biologically, but not emotionally, at 14 due to experimental anti-aging drugs) she is a novitate priestess in a religion that combines aspects of the Jedi (mind powers and martial prowess) and the Hathran (Rashemi witches of the Forgotten Realms, all female group of magic users and they wear masks to hide their faces).
Her name is Alcea, which is another name for Hollyhock (which she'll sometimes use as a pseudo-surname), which in the language of flowers symbolizes ambition.
She's about 4'10" and flat chested (yes I love lolis) with long black hair she wears either twin-tail or in a single braid. She wields two swords of perfectly two dimensional sheets of gravity (which can therefore cut through damn near anything short of a magical barrier). She can also turn herself invisible to all physical forms of detection at-will (although this is very tiring); she can be traced by tracking her thoughts and through the use of prescience, but even then it's fuzzy. She has the power of suggestion, but it is not true mind-control; free tickets on an airplane with a clever lie? Yes; convincing a soldier to kill his fellows? probably not unless that individual was crazy already.
When in priestessly garb she wears black, loose fitting robes trimmed with silver and an opaque obsidian mask.
In combat she is fond of grenades and mines to augment her meager offensive casting ability; she also wields her twin duo-dimensional blades with jedi-like skill; and she can create her own barriers to protect herself.
She's also a hacker and lock-picker and has other rogue-like skills and abilities.
Her goal is to rise to the top of the priestess-hood and turn it into more of a military force rather than the quasi-moral guardianship it is at present. She is dissatisfied with the current running of the multi-planetary nation (which is ruled by an oligopoly) and feels she would do better as empress.
[edit]Changed my mind. Duo-dimensional blades are ridiculously overpowered. I think they'll be blades made of willpower like those of Soulknives from D&D or Zealots and Dark Templars from Starcraft.
