So I just got back from another day volunteering at the children's hospital. Playing video games has never been so depressing. I played with a 6-year old who said he will probably die if he loses any weight, and he burns LOTS of Calories in his sleep. I was like :'( then we played moar Nintendo Wii.

I dunno. You see we're not allowed to ask patients what's wrong with them unless they tell us themselves. I didn't ask any more. I'm there just to take his mind off of his illness, so asking him about it wouldn't really be appropriate. Also there's a bunch of legal crap that I'd have to deal with if I asked.

Well it's a nice thing to do either way.

I don't like going near hospitals unless I have to, it creeps me out.

Watching B Gata H Kei. Episode 6 really has the best English I have ever heard in any anime.

I think it's about time that I start watching anime movies.

Currently downloading My Neighbor Totoro, Tales of Vesperia ~The First Strike~, Spirited Away, 5cm Per Second, and The Girl who Leapt Through Time.

I heard a lot of good things about these movies.

Totoro is pretty cool, but a little on the kiddy side...

Spirited Away is absolutely awesome... Love it so much!

5cm Per Second is pretty good as well. A little on the melodramatic side, but still a pretty enjoyable watch.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is fucking sweet as hell... (Even if the main character's name is Makoto ^_^)

Haven't seen the other one, but those are pretty much 4 of the most influential / positive movies I've seen. Definitely in for a treat ^_^

Pretty much anything Ghibli/Miyazaki is awesome when it comes to anime films.

So I just finished watching Totoro.
So damn cute!

I thought the ending failed pretty damn hard (I guess they had to keep it that simple for little kids). I really didn't see much of a story, either.

However the movie put me in a REALLY good mood

Next up: Spirited Away!

Seitokai Yakuindomo gets a thumbs up from me in english; but not because they are good at it in there........Pretty much the short girl is supposed to be fluent in english, but we discover in ep 3 she has the same broken english that is in most animes. Reason this one gets a thumbs up is....

^ I'll check it out. If your enjoying B Gata H Kei (I didn't like that one too much) you should try out Seitokai Yakuindomo. That anime is fucking amusing =P

The only reason I enjoyed B Gata H Kei is because it's a brainless ecchi anime that is different from the usual "tons of hot girls in suddenly love with an indecisive guy." I have grown tired of most of the ecchi stuff because it's just so samey (same pattern, jokes, etc.) but that was different and funny. I mean, the main character is a hot perverted but still virgin high school girl who wants "100 sex friends."

I felt like watching some brainless comedy, so that was a good fit.
