Then I got superhero-pinguin hanging from the roof and denim-jacket above the table that has shoes in front, and also the external-stuff-pile in the other head of my bed, 4 caps and some clothes + bathrobe.
As you can see, our camera isn't good and I don't know how to take good pictures ;D ...and I collect junk...

Okay, so my friend tells me he's gonna rewatch Gurren Lagann. I felt nostalgic, so I went over to IMDB and looked at the trivia section of Gurren Lagann's page (don't ask why that satisfied the nostalgia).

I was amazed when I saw:

In other newshhshs...It's time for me to watch 5cm per Second.

You remind me that I have never actually got around to watch Gurren Lagann. Is the only version available a weird mash-up of Order, SS-Anon, SS-BSS, and BSS-Anon where the first fourteen episodes are in .mp4? Because that's the only version I can find.

Well I'm in the Czech republic and I've done some funny/stupid commentaries of Prague and maybe I'll upload it here later once I get home if anyone cares to see it.

I really liked that movie. It was pretty good, up until the end, where it became absolutely amazing.

Nawww.
Clannad is the only anime that's brought me close to crying. But I didn't!
I'm going to try to maintain my "Never cried for a cartoon" status throughout my whole anime-watching carreer! :D

Clannad made be cry, but not because it was sad; it made me cry because it was horrible - especially the ending. The only good thing about Clannad is the special episode with Tomoyo, which was simply beautiful.

Have you watch ef - A Tale of Memories yet? That one gets me every time.

Didn't cry at Clannad. I cried manly tears at the ending of Popotan and I'm not ashamed to admit it. The only other ending(s) that made me shed a tear were Kanon's (The VN, not the anime).

In a completely unrelated topic, what does everybody think about this article? I kinda lol'd.

Lol gotta love just how little the Japanese "get" western culture, well at least its better then western society just completely ignoring foreign cultures. Though the concept of Hetalia is different to say the least, must watch it just to see what the point of it is.

Miyuki in Wonderland is funny as hell. The OVA and the manga!

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

You want funny? I'll give you funny.

I'm actually an internationally respected and well known scientist when it comes to my (extremely small) field of fire science. Most of the nods I get are due to my very young age and activity in test formats for ASTM. However, today that was ruined.

An affiliate laboratory of the one I work for sells "Tunnel Tests" (It's a 25 foot long tunnel of fire, more or less) despite not having a tunnel. There's only a handful in the country and we happen to have one. So the lady at the other lab, Glenda, sent me an email asking if I had gotten in some samples from Italy. I told her I only had a French test from her and needed a PO for it. She informed me that there are a few French tests coming our way and she only has a PO for 1 of them right now and asked if I could tell her what company had sent it (name, city, etc.).

I haven't been in a French class for 10 years, I'm rusty. So I start going through these sloppily handwritten shipping documents, customs forms, blah blah blah and I come across a printed paper. Obviously, it's in French too but at least it's not a seizure victim's last note. So, I start trying to translate it on my own and figure it out. I double check with babelfish and realize I, more or less, have what she's looking for. I send her the info I gathered and asked if it matched her records for the outstanding PO. She replied that it did.

This is where things go terribly, terribly wrong.

My boss, Tom, watched me do all this. He doesn't know a word of French and was useless. So, to inform him that the PO on his desk is for this test - I forwarded that last email to him. I hate leaving FW: emails blank with just my signature so I left him a little note:

"My translation brings all the boys to the yard and they're like - it's better than yours. Damn right, it's better than yours. I could teach you but I'd have to charge."

Tom then decided to ask Glenda and a couple other scientists there about the other tests that are coming in and instead of making a whole new email or calling her, just clicked reply and added her name in leaving my message from above in the email. Now everyone at that laboratory is aware that I am:

a.) Not a real professional
b.) Not an adult
c.) Aware of at least 1 Kelis song.

It's not me - it's you.
