I do with most of mine. This one is an exception to the rule. He nearly bled me dry of cash, made me cry at least once a week, treated me like shit and made me feel exceptionally unattractive. And then I had to live with him for 6 months after we broke up. Bleh.

Yes. Of the two serious relationships I've been in, one ended with me going apeshit and calling her a leech on a boomerang capable of sucking the joy out of every moment. In between one short lived relationship - maybe a few months - told me she was dying of leukaemia and moved away without telling me where. The last...actually the last one ended comparatively well. I was busy at the time and she was bitching about how I wouldn't make the two hour train journey after my day ended at ~5pm to go see her for dinner, causing the whole "where is this relationship heading" talk, and apparently "the bedroom" wasn't the answer she was looking for. But seriously, I was too busy with work that I hadn't really thought about it. I enjoyed spending time with her and that was pretty much as far as it went for me.

Since then I've mostly stuck to short flings and one night stands. Easier to run when they turn psycho that way. That said, like everyone I have that "one that got away" scenario. She was the one I just had fun with when my gf at the time was a little...bland, and I realise now I should have gone off with her instead. Damn conscience (to clarify, I would never cheat. If I was having issues with a relationship, fucking behind their back isn't gonna help matters). In short, it's not impossible, just unlikely. That said it seems mine have all exploded either as a result of honesty or not getting out quick enough so I wouldn't take me as an example. I still love the phrase "leech on a boomerang" though. She was nothing if not a great topic for writing about.

I've got two more or less serious ones. First ended when her family moved away. Second one was not going anywhere really, I couldn't give her what she wanted and when she went away to study and me to army it was just easy to end it. Issues with me being a sociopath and all. We're good friends though. Since then I've been mostly flinging and ONSing it. A few recurring ones when we cross paths but nothing more. Just don't have the commitment for a serious one right now. Truthfully, I haven't even had interest for any kind of sexual relationship in months.

EDIT: Actually, I don't have any idea what my first gf is doing since we haven't had any kind of contact since she moved so I don't think that counts...

Considering-

the first was a guy when I was 12 and all we did was hold hands once and discuss Final Fantasy 8
the second was when I was 13 and we're still good friends now.
the third was my first year of college and he turned out to be an ass so I only dated in for a few months.
the fourth was in my second year of college and he was a stoner and a waster. Was with him... 4 months ish?
the fifth was when I first moved to Lincoln and I was with him for a lot longer than I should have been. (About a year too long)
and the sixth is Mat, who I'll have been with for a year soon.

Only the last 3 were really serious. The others weren't really.

My sister on the other hand... she's dated at least twice the amount of guys I have and she's 2 years younger.

Agreed, not serious for the first one. Others are open to debate.
Age has nothing to do with serious, my first one went from 13 to 15.

Trying to design our end of year publication. We have to do pitches for it next week to try and get our idea picked. I really want ours to, it's quite good. Nice to FINALLY get a group that works together fairly well.
