You might try Sony MDRE818LP. I've been trying other earbuds, but I keep coming back to these.
Sony's suggested list is around $15, but I've seen them now and then at around $8.
Their rated frequency response is quite impressive, but, unlike many competitors, their actual low frequency response is very, very nice.

I'd go with the first one if I were you, but I am biased becuz I don't like they other type. They never stay in my ears when I am jogging... or moving at all for that matter. the other variety never fall out, even if I pull down on them
On the other hand, the other ones dont have a straight plug so I would not use them either. I guess it depends how and what you plan to use them for.

You mentioned the apple ones earlier, those are nice, but in cold weather the button doesn't work very well. Tho it was nice at the same time since I would hold the button in my mouth so I could just chomp down rather then use my hands lol. Anyway, if it matters, I just picked up these the other day. They are nice so far-

I have Skullcandy earbuds, and I'm perfectly happy with them. They sound great for the price, and they can withstand all the crap that goes along with my workouts. Definitely get them.

until I started Uni classes !

Should have said Romanticism, or at least properly capitalized it. I'm much more a fan of Baroque with regards to physical artwork. Musically, prolly Medieval/Middle Ages. Baroque music was too focused upon the Trio Sonata (harpsichords, ew). Not that Corelli didn't offer some amazing things to musical structure, historically, but, srsly, no harpsichords kthx.

When I compared the sound of some Skullcandy inears (they were 35€) and my earphones which I got with my iPod Touch (not inear) I must say that the quality diff. was huge.
Skullcandy's inears may have better bass, but the quality wasn't that good.
I'm not an Apple fan but I must admit that their earphones are pretty badass.

The best thing to do is to have a good pair of professional headphones. There are a lot of products you can trust.
