Do your teachers pick on you when you're not paying attention in class? I keep seeing this happen in numerous anime shows.

no, i even sleep in class and they don't give a shit as long as i can answer their question when they wake me up, which suprisingly enough, is easy for me to do since i can somehow keep up even when sleeping.

I've seen teachers throw chalks to people when they are talking and get close, walking quietly, to a person sleeping, and shout in his/her ear: "DESPERTATE!" (wake up). They are really mean.

My lecturer is an ass. If you understand what he is talking about then he is awesome. As soon as he actually has to teach you something, because you don't understand his monotonous voice, he becomes the most sullen, snotty nosed, old fart you have ever seen.

I think he is lonely. Its like he doesn't want to teach you he just wants a bunch of people to talk to about stuff he knows.

Some lecturers are just like that. We had one who'd arrive with a hangover, or "call in sick." Another just wouldn't show up for his own classes because he was researching and "lost track of time." Some will try to bullshit and when you ask them a question they'll not answer you. If you ask decent questions often enough they'll start to pretend you don't exist.

I also found out in my second year the chain of research command: Lecturer asks PHD student to do something, PHD student fobs it off to undergrads and calls it a "group research project." By this time the Lecturer's twigged it isn't their work and asks you to do their work directly. And no, not for extra credit. "For fun." Fortunately it's pretty easy to then say you need access to a PHD lab and fob it off to a PHD student. Turns out they aren't all that bright either.

but yeah, they did pick me quite often. Until they stoped, and they stoped because #1 I was always correct or #2 I told them a joke

or #3 I awnsered wrong on purpose
