I really do feel sorry for the people hit by Yasi, right after floods too.

If Melbourne wasn't in drought prior we would likely be flooded too, water reserves went from nothing to almost full in 2 years, took 10 years to fall that far.

PS~ Did you know Saudi Arabia is flooded?

Considering booking a 28 day holiday to either America, Canada or Alaska....leaning more towards the adventure holiday in Alaska though

I live at home and my job pays good so am well off for now -_-, i want to have a "once in a lifetime" holiday while am still young....it's 2,600£, and my spending money...so this would be it!

I couldn't live at home again. Much as I love my parents I like my independence.

Mat's folks keep saying we can go and stay with them while we househunt as well, but being there for more than a day or two would drive me insane. His dad continuously talks. <_<;

Something different, things like ice climbing, skiing, rafting etc...and i'd like to see the landscapes and such...unless its mega boring? am looking into the different places anyway

For a normal sunny holiday i could just go to the med for 2weeks or something, don't want that

On the freezing Texas bit... WTF is right. Uni has been closed ALL WEEK! :'( This means I'll be making up this lost week at the end of the year, infringing upon my summer vacation time.

I was traveling through Canada. Went all over, BC included, so I thought I'd continue over into Alaska. It was lame. I love the city, tho, and there was a severe lack of city-type entertainment. Like I said, backwoods. Backwoods=boring.

We got hit by a huge blizzard here in the chicago area. 20 some inches of snow overnight. Shit was closed for Tuesday and Wednesday, now on Thursday it's like nothing happened.

Not taken by me (Obviously... I can't fly!), but just a pretty crazy sweet pic taken yesterday.
