That is correct. Although I still have Xp installed in multiboot. I almost never use it.

Used to be with Kyrdua, s/he was with Ubuntu for a couple of months with a XP dual-boot. Until s/he decided the XP was better. (I encouraged Kyrdua to switch 'cuz most of our project were done at Windows)

I have always loved libre software. I was impossible to switch before because I played games but nowadays I play less and less do it's no longer a problem. I might switch back eventually if there is to many compatibility problems but now I'm just fascinated at what the community as created.

i did find ubuntu good, but gnome sucked for me, tried kubuntu, it was a load fail, then stuck with opensuse the longest.(all in dual boot)

why i decided to not toy with linux anymore?

1. what you said
2. no CoreAVC in linux, or at least not as easily obtainable as windows.
3. no photoshop in linux(edit GIMP works, but you can't do complex stuff with it, even the best gimpers's works are just on par with intermediate photoshop users. from what i've seen at least)
4. and the most important reason:

I always like Open source stuff... ( I would wish that GoldSrc would become opensource as Id did.

^ yep ,free is the best. this is the reason why chrome quickly rose to popularity and had add ons quickly. compared to IE, man, will they ever catch up?

Reinstalling all my programs.

Tried mplayer for the first time today. It repeatedly crashed when I tried to open House with it. So I just downloaded VLC >_>

I heard that 'Wine' makes wonders in Linux.
My mate is even running Steam with Wine on ArchLinux.

Its not sleeping as in I can type a bit and then it shuts off, I can't even get as far as hitting the apple icon before its asleep again. Only time I've been able to use it is the few times its worked okay. I backed all my data up and reformatted it, so its fine to sell. Just need to clean it a bit before I take some beauty shots.

But for now, House and uni work.

Can someone please explain this reversed Avatar phenomenon. Even if the set is beyond perfection i cant stand using an ava set that is the same as my gender.

Choosing a set based on gender is a bit silly imo. I'd rather just use a character I like.

Because people think less of avatars as representations of themselves and more as representations of what they enjoy much of which being a humans instinctual desire to mate and therefore giving you the result of a set that is opposite to your real gender. I mean, I can see my arse in the mirror whenever I want. But a female arse... that is a different story and the reason why female avatars exist in MMOs because we all known females don't play MMOs.

Oh and kuran loves me so much right now... Actually is there ever a time when she doesn't love me as much as she does now. :3

One advantage to me and Mat sharing a machine now is I'm actually getting on with work. Got 4 pages of storyboarding done for this digital magazine app...
