I am currently a bit inactive. But the stuff in japan gets me all worried because a friend of mine is there... He just wanted to do a week vacation there and that happens. I wish i could find out what's going on, but he doesn't answer his phone! I am scared...

Quit. Sick of being treated like shit, plus I need the time to concentrate on uni and getting a proper job. Looking for more work though

I gotta give you credit for lasting more then a week (That is the longest I worked in fast food. 1 week at McDonalds when I was in High School.)
Actually, the staff was fine, but dealing with moronic customers while wearing a happy face proved to be more taxing then I had anticipated.

Blaming the cashier for making your food wrong, blaming the desk cashier for the drive thrus fuck ups, people buying big meals with bags of change, etc, etc.
And to top it all off: even the employee discount/free meals are shit because its still fast food.

Ofcourse for those who can handle the work itself, its a fine job. Flexible hours are win.

I've been at Taco Bell for only 3 months now and I'm starting to ~~hate~~ fucking despise it.
The higher-ups are totally inconsiderate of my being a full-time student. They even fucking called me while I was at school, and when I asked them why and told them I was a bit disturbed by it, they said 'don't worry about it.'

It doesn't change. I'm in my final year of uni and asked to cut my hours down to a long shift and a short one, I said I'd be happy to do a 5pm-2:30am every week, as long as I could get something like a 5pm-8pm to go with it. I come in the next week- two 5-2:30s, then a 5-2:30 and a 5-11:30 then 3 fucking shifts. It was like my note had just said "Hi. I'll do all the 5-2:30s you want!"

And they've called me so many times in class. :/

BTW, good thing I can't go to any job. (Not that the parents are funding, but the school doesn't like that.)

That's pretty fucked up.
My situation is similar but even more messed up considering that it's illegal for them to try to pull me out of school during a school day...

When I was 16 I used to work from 7am till around 10pm every weekend. Fastfood does not care about being legal.

My project group for college is going to hate me tommorow, I was supposed to work out some stuff on humidity/damp in the contruction... After working for 3 hours straight I have concluded that I have no idea on wtf I'm supposed to do, and reading through the 54 page theory for it didn't help one bit (hate it when there's that much text trying to explain something, is it really needed? >.>)

Trust me, if theories can be explained in 140 characters or less, it's probably not a worthy theory to remember... that, and the world would be so boring. Imagine explaining how nuclear fission works to a person in 4 sentences, it's essentially impossible.

Yikes, America likes to "protect" their children so my work permit doesn't let me work that long.

My friend returned safely from japan, he was on the way home when i tried to phone him. I feel relieved...

Cooking a big batch of chilli ready for tomorrow night. Slightly miffed I've not been able to make a packed lunch for tomorrow though as my bread was mouldy. Will just have to buy something cheap in town for uni.

Then I'm gonna compile my research for my last uni projects and get started on two illustrations for a competition online. Looking to get all the exposure I can now. I want people to pay me to draw!

...Must remember to buy more masking tape....
