It's quite the ecchi paradise but that's also part of what makes it so fun, it's so absurd at times. When you see someone's clothes explode when they're hit how can you not burst out laughing?

Especially the second reason, boredom is the greatest of inventors.
But Ikkitousen has it's own kind of absurdness that makes it fun.

The manga is actually great with all the politics, great fights and awesome characters.
Anime is just mindless fun.

Though if I remember correctly, the episodes from 3-7 or 4-8 sucked.

You should read the manga, you'd like it.

Violence, sex, politics, fights, fights, fights, and more fights. What more could one hope for?

Funniest thing got to be the total change of style it had nearing the 100th chapter, just BAM!, total change in drawings.

yeah, but a lot of anime that should be continued aren't any more than 12 eps long... oh the irony...

(to name a few: Seitokai no Ichizon [Student Council's Discretion],
Kampfer {has 2 other soon coming eps, but not enough!}
etc.)

Ikkitousen is only for certain moments of absolute boredom and certain times of need for fun. It does NOT go down on a regular day.
