Me too. I need to be learning Japanese, but I only have the basics of the basic basics down. In fact, I only know a few different characters in Hiragana: no and n/m. /sigh/

Katakana and hiragana are the easy parts. Wait till you get to kanji! And stop slacking, what happened to your dream of moving to Japan and creating anime? You've no motivation!
I was your age when I first started trying to learn Japanese, but like all the other languages I spent time on. No practice usage = decayed abilities to the point of nearly none. Too bad it couldn't be more like riding a bike.

its not "lol" as you know it, but used in the same way. It actually just means "laugh" IIRC. Its the Japanese equiv of lol, so you are kinda right, I guess.
