catholics? the meddle in politics despite the "separation of church and state"(friggin useless, even in america AFAIK) clause

baptits/born agains/misc christians? they try to convert fucking everyone.

muslims? they do what they do.

atheists/irreligionists? next to nonexistent. or probably in some Xavier academy for non-theists.

ah'm here! Oh, and one more note about religion in America-
Its not what it seems. Religion is nearly non-existent save for a few die-hards who dont really count.
Religion in America has become like many other factors. It is basically only a consumeristic faction. Very few truly believe what is written, as far as I have seen.

I think church and state should stay seperate, for if religious ideals were taught in schools, how would kids learn science?

Depends where you're from. The Catholic high school I nearly went to just follows the skirt, shirt and blazer rule that most of the schools around here do. Not all that sexy tbh

lol, I tend to dislike people from catholic schools. (not because of there religion). I have decided to stay away from labeling myself. I will keep an open mind though. If I had to choose, I may choose Buddhism for their ideals.

yep. a catholic school I know has a below-knee length plain blue skirt and long sleeved blazer.

me too, far too zealous and annoying. some of them turn out to become the opposite though when they leave their catholic school though. those are the types i want to hang out with.

personally though, i'd choose "no religion". ideals be damned.

Not everyone at a Catholic school is catholic. If I'd got into the one here I'd have still been very much aetheist.

I just remembered something I had read about encountering intelligent Alien Life. There were certain things to do and not to do when encountering one, and if we ever do encounter IAL, I just hope it won't be some religious freak or Earth is doomed. Think about it, you start telling an alien that the world was created for us?

There is a state religion in Norway, however nobody is switching evolution for creationism like in USA (where there is supposed to be a separation of church and state)

Actually it's kind of an ancient thing. The reason why Christianity is a state religion here is because our King is above the law and "only god can judge him". Also that makes him an official defender of the church. So it's kind of a thing that as long as we have a King, we are also stuck with a "state religion". In practice it means nothing as most people are non believers anyway.

Yeah, I guess if it works. I kind of get annoyed with people who believe in creationism, it is like shutting your eyes and being afraid of the boogyman in your closet while your father pulls open the closet door and shows you nothing is there.
