I live in a block of flats. I don't get much choice. Its also a wireless login service (has to be logged back in every 8 hours) that only allows one connection to a username. So I can't use my PS3 on it, or my phone, or my DS etc etc. And I have to umbilical cord Mat's PC to it via an ethernet cable. Stupid crap net.

I didn't have to do that but I only got one connection to the wired(there was no wireless).
I had to change the DNS servers because the originals were complete shit and if I ever exceeded the network limits(which happened a LOT, woohoo for mixed UL/DL traffic counting) it would cut all DNS traffic so I could only browse the net by IP. I favourited some webproxies by IP and used those to browse the net.
