I used to use MAL updater. Then it started slowing down and lagging on me and everything so I just gave up using it. My list is now so far behind its not even funny.

Meh looks annoying, I usually put an empty text document in the folder of the anime I'm watching and giving it a number

I have a folder in my downloads where I put anime in, and then I move episodes to a [to burn] folder, after I finish watching I just either burn on DVD/BD or wait for BDs if I want to archive. then remove from the HDD

I keep everything on externals and copy a folder across when I want to watch it. As I finish episodes I delete them from my laptop, then at the end when I'm picking my next series I move the folder on my external to the 'Watched' section.

Sold that broken tablet in less than 24 hours and picked myself a kindle up. Got to say, I'm loving it so far.

Almost exactly like me. I keep series I am watching(or seeding) on my laptop, and move every unwatched(or non-seeding) series to my external.

Pfft! Not only do they take up space they make backupping and defragmentation a living hell. And with BBT Backlisting & Whitelisting series at random i see no point in keeping finished series.

I do this too. I didn't realize people actually re-download stuff when they want to watch it again.

lol, DVDs/BDs, people invented optical mediums for backups, storing and archiving, it's not that hard to browse through your discography to find a series you want to re-watch

^ What on earth are you on about? That was in reply to DELETING everything. Not putting it on discs.

Burning everything to disc takes too long. I started it, bought a load of 8 way boxes to put everything in and got bored after 16 discs. If I could get someone to sit there and change the discs for me maybe I'd do it, but in all honesty I don't have the space anyway. And putting them all on spindles is just painful

With this speed (and 200GB bandwidth) I don't have much of a choice but to store it if I want to rewatch it. I'm soon gonna have to go looking for a new HDD to store my anime on as my current external HDD is already full. I'd preferably get an external so I can chuck it in the microwave if the cops knock on the door
