I cut into the middle of this bad rhapsody to say, THUNDER IS EVIL! You think thunder is cool? YOU HAVE NOT HEARD REAL THUNDER!

Take a metal curtain put it THIS ->l l<- CLOSE to your ear then swing the bat! THATS HOW BAD IT GETS!

And then there are those lighting strikes that appear out of no where on a sunny day.

Hmm, two years ago a thunder hit the car I walked past at the moment, I think I know how loud a thunder strike is, I still think it's an awesome natural force of power.

I don't know of any exactly 50, even pokemon is in the thousands or something.

some of the best anime i've seen is less than 50 eps. i usually see 50+ ep series run into the 100's, 200's, and unfortunately 400+eps. these are usualy series like naruto, one piece, and other.

imo, the longer series are not very good and run so long, i cant imagine staying interested that long.

something to compare it with:
slap a firecracker up on your ear and light it up. ok this one ain't gonna be safe.

slap a megaphone up on your ear and light up a firecracker on the amplifier end.

I can think of several very good 40+ episodes series but nothing over 50 comes to my mind.

counting ovas

Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei 45 episodes

Hidamari Sketch 42 episodes

Minami-ke 40 episodes

edit: oh Fullmetal Alchemist episodes had 51 episodes(56 with the ova)

brotherhood reaches 68 but I have not seen it

FMA Brotherhood too, it was fairly good.

And if you want to think of separate seasons as the same series, there are some more like GitS:SAC, Higurashi, Clannad, Black Lagoon
