Usually someone who has been a member for x days and uploaded x GB, they can download stuff before everyone else when torrents get accepted

This is what a power user is.

A power uploader is someone who can upload without going through the offer process. Their stuff is accepted automatically.

Only way to get Power Uploader status now is to upload a ton of things perfectly without fail. That is why usually the manga uploaders get it.

And I stalk in broad daylight. Its a lot more fun and challenging. :3

Take EtrianFOE and Dille for example. Their uploads 99% of the time without error and usually in good judgement with the rules. Although there are 1 or 2 problems here and there sometimes. They have uploaded well over 100 torrents and are veterans of uploading. The main problem with offering anime series instead of manga is that manga rarely clashes.

Anime series clash most of the time. Multiple fansub groups, iffy remux decisions etc etc. They require a staff judgement. Giving Power Uploader to those people forces them to ask on the forums about comparisons and decisions which results in usually someone else uploading and going through the process making it a rather useless upgrade and making the possiblity for bad offers from others greater.

Music uploaders are probably similar but I would be willing to give Power Uploader to some of them. Main problem is trying to get all the CDs and knowing whether to offer or wait since they can't just offer and then if wait desired put on hold.

This is also the reason people question the reason that hentai gets an easy pass. Its because there is little clash so little decision required where as clashes require research, votes and questioning.

I got only 3 uploads and they were adoptions, (well a lossless was mine but still had a source). The adoption is not easy as it looks, atleast for me. Offering a torrent is rather easier, but after adopting, going through what is wrong, what needs correction, what needs an replacement is a lot of work, and it becomes harder for older torrent.

Especially the music torrents like Enzie said, like the macross music collection I took on, it was a real pain, the album info was not available, no scans were out there and even finding a decent album cover took a lot of time. Even after all that getting to perfection was not that possible, as no matter what, there was always something missing. Those torrents still need upgrades and thanks one or two users who had the stuff,it was possible.

^ You're missing the point of adoption.
You should only apply to adopt a torrent after you have a very clear picture of what changes you will be making to it, and after you have made sure that you have the means to make these changes.
