I played most of the Pokemon games, but yeah, I think only the first was so damn good, also I just noticed your signature quote and started giggling madly

on a side note, google translator should put google word in the dictionary. (the lowercase version cuz it has the Uppercase)

I played Pokemon Yellow, which was awesome. After that, I got Crystal when it came out, and that was even better. Then I tried one of the ones that came out on GBA after that (I forget what it was called - ruby, possibly), and it was exactly the same as the first two, but I didn't like it much. I think it's because they kept adding so many new, increasingly ridiculous, pokemon - it lost so much of it's charm as a result. And since the gameplay remained virtually unchanged, it was beginning to get boring as well.

Pokemon Crystal was definitely the best Gameboy Colour game ever made though. I loved it

^2 Heh. Well, Blastoise wasn't the prettiest of Pokemon... nor were Charizard and Venusaur, for that matter. At one point I didn't let them evolve at all, just so they would stay cute.

Yellow was pretty cool, too, IMO. You had to trade with both to catch them all, but you didn't have Pikachu following you around in Red or Blue. XD

But other than R/B/Y and playing about halfway through one of G/S, I mostly left it alone. I liked the concept, but I didn't really feel any draw toward the later generations. Trying to "catch them all" felt far more daunting once there were several hundred of them to catch, and Eeveelutions felt like they were becoming a lot more complicated.

I played most of them but unfortunately emulated. I started D/P/Pt but never finished them. I also have B/W but either they have become pretty time intensive or I have a lot less time. I guess both. And those exclusive downloadable Pokemon were also a reason I never really played Pokemon so obsessively. So to say: Why bother? You'll never have all Pokemon...

I've played trough only, Blue, Red, Yellow and Pearl, and I have to say that Pokémon Yellow is the best, (still have it :3) 1st time I played it like, 11 years ago? But well, I ended up using party with Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur, Nidoking and 2 random, what ever I happened to catch Nearly everytime, and also, when deceded to have fun I had Moltres, Articuno and Zaptos with Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard... + I never traded any pokémons but that is just because here was no-one to trade with

I came late to pokemon, my first pokemon game was Crystal. I played that through and I don't even remember how far I had gotten until I lost the save data (brothers).

But I have played all of the (Handheld) Pokemon games. Blue/Red/Green/Yellow/HeartGold/SoulSilver/Black/White were in emulators. The rest I bought.
