Golden Sun 1 + 2 on the GBA. Quite possibly the single best RPG series I've ever played, which is saying something. Also, +1 to Chrono Trigger and Fire Emblem.

I had the umbrella bug, or I thought it was bugged, what are you experiencing anyways ? it needs perfect timing to work, and the mini me vision is actually good, adds the difficulty to puzzles, but yeah the invisible borders are there, but that isn't a bad thing. Forced battles ?

I couldn't use the umbrella at all. Fixed it, now it works.

Mini vision is annoying. Unless you are constantly changing between it and normal vision you'll be missing out memories, teeth, bottles, etc.

Invisible borders ARE a bad thing, they kill the immersion. I can't explore nor can I climb up the awesome shrooms, trees, pipes and stuff. Now it feels much more like a pipe run.

Forced battles as in there are constantly enemies that have to be killed to proceed. Kill all monsters, door opens, etc.

But dear lord the game is stylish and beautiful.
Nice references to the first game at times.

I giggled the first time I heard that in AMA and then in AMR, pretty much the same time in the game too

Of all the memories to understand the story completely you need only the doctor and home memories, some other will be simply in daylight to capture, but to completely understand what was going on you need all memories. I will keep my opinion, best game in the past few years, this is how you actually make a story dear game developers. And up yours EA for making this harder than it had to be, fucking memory checks

Btw, later in the game, you will have fun with umbrella, if you learn to use it properly XD

I actually know what you mean, but considering the engine and other mechanics they implemented into this game, this is far superior to the early stages. Also, perverted fans should know this :
McGee personally deleted Alice models that were showing even the slightest service, like panties or other undergarments. The released version doesn't even have the code. some of the earlier works of the dresses were heavily modified, and thank gods, I mean, I prefer Alice in her murderous state being beautiful, not sexy, her being herself is enough to make the coldest blood boil

If only Duke Nukem was 5% this good.

The hysteria Mode is a devastating improvement compared to AMA, back there it wasn't much of use because the enemies literally died the instant you approached (click=death=I Win Button!)

In this game the mode is more controllable, predictable, and lets face it, it looks so damn awesome Mortal Kombat looks like a child's play XD

Btw, the way they made Hysteria Mode Alice ... she looks a lot like from some beautiful nightmare.

I have no idea where McGee made her up, but seeing how carefully this game is done, he deserves a nobel prize, for peace !

Also, you should visit the game topic in Games board. And do tell how you feel after finishing it.

MIKUBOOK -I just joined. And trust me, when they say "Very Early Beta", they aren't kidding. I had to manually change the URL to /facebook in order to log in with Facebook since I don't want a Twitter account. They don't seem to have a normal account making system yet.

I use IQDB and Tineye all the time. In fact, I have a FF addon that has like 10 different picture lookups on right-click. Saucenao doesn't help me much though.
