I am not really mad at my husband, because I don't think it was intentional. It just really hurt my feelings that he gave her so much attention. I never get that much, or at least not in a really long time.

It's not like he could cheat on me, it was just him giving all his attention to her and it was making me feel left out. It was a pretty shitty feeling.

I know it was me just being jealous. She hasn't ever come over to stay without my brother before, so I really wasn't expecting it to be different. It was, and it kind of sucked to be honest. It was only because she is a really good friend of mine too. It also makes me mad when she tells me all the things they talk about, and some of them are things he doesn't talk to me about. I wouldn't care if he was telling that stuff to a guy friend, but not our mutual female friend.

I dont think its anything to worry about really. Maybe you should be honest and just tell him you want a bit more attention. Everyone needs a bit of TLC sometimes. Maybe he needs to chat with her about things? I think its good he has someone he can confide in, i dont think he is being sneaky or anything.

I tell things to other people that i wouldnt share with a partner, some things are just for me. Not for them.

imo the person we love we assume we could tell them everything. however it goes without saying that somethings are too embarrassing or too personal in the sense of awkwardness. like we might take their option in the highest matter over say a stranger. that doesn't mean we don't love them. we are just not confident in ourself enough to let them know that much. it's not until you realize how stupid it is that you can't let them in that far. as you would a long term best friend buddy since high school. after all your partner dose have more pronounced feelings for you. so why would it matter anyway if you didn't have that kinda trust like best friend? one could argue the reason why your in a relationship but i guess that might be why ppl breakup.

I agree with you on there are somethings you rather not share with your partner but you need to get it out to someone

The problem is she is our mutual friend. It would be totally different if it was with one of his other friends, not one of mine too. When she tells me about the stuff they talk about, it is sometimes REALLY personal stuff that should just be between the two of us. It gets really irritating sometimes. I do plan on talking to him about it tonight. I just wanted to cool off a bit before it did so it doesn't seem like I am attacking him. Since it was unintentional.
