It depends on the registrar, so rather than all .net or .com domains, it's only domains registered with a US registrar. That said though, most .com and .net domains are American (I think .com is considered to be the official US domain extension, much like the UK has .uk, France is .fr, etc).

it was 13 episodes and a pointless OVA.

yeah, it seems volume 6 is where the anime stops going with the manga, and makes up the last 3 episodes. There are still 6 volumes after that.

I was watching How The States Got Their Shapes on the History Channel (OUDOSAI! I enjoy the History Channel!) and it was the episode where he was talking about the blank spots in the states.

Anyway, I think Nevada itself interests me. A big dessert with a massive casino city (Sin City: Las Vegas), and military bases.

Being dry is the least of worries, Nevada was a testing ground for Nuclear Bombs Research.
Area 51 is one of the last bases stationed there, the secret about it is simply to keep people from poking in the wrong places, the supposedly revealed area 51 base is either revealed after all the evidence of all the testing was removed or the base was built to finally piss off people poking and stop the conspiracy theories.

Personally I give no fuck as to what the US are doing in that area. I'm pretty sure that the moment some great disastrous evil will be upon mankind, it will be the fault of the US government.

Nah, it's not that great of a series. Too much fanservice - i.e. too much boob. If you have nothing else to watch, though, go for it. It's not absolutely terrible. It's okay for a laugh here and there.

Obviously they're creating striker units which will utilize magical girls who magically grow kemonomimis and tails, all in preparation of the imminent Neuroi invasion.

Iran may do something stupid like bomb Israel and then start WWIII. N Korea would do the same except to S Korea and/or Japan. Boom WWIII
