Btw. is there any site that lists fansub groups for shows picked by CR? Fansub wiki deletes all groups once CR has picked the show...

Not just the bible, but any sort of Jehova's Witness pamphlet and the like. Although, I hear the stuff is around in the country, you're just not allowed to take it in with you.

Well, I am not sure if any other groups plan to pick it up, but I see 3 have done the PV and so might be planning to do the show also (Doki, Hatsuyuki, and some group called TrY (who I know nothing about))
But yea, I have no plans to watch HS either. Only one show I will do that for and that is Gintama since the only other groups take their sweet ol' time with that one.

I'm thinking its going to be a pretty popular show so hopefully a respected group picks it up.

I'm not religious, for that you are right.
I do support freedom of religion. Quite strongly too but I don't think that's the reason for the kneejerk reaction.

Actually I don't really know myself. I can't imagine living without having a bible. I'm agnostic myself so it doesn't hold religious values to me. Maybe it's cultural connection or something. I alwas have a bible at my place, it doesn't feel home without it.

I have the Bible at home as well. I also have the Legenda Aurea (a collection of legends about saints) and a few other religious books at home - merely for the sake of identifying those in works of art.

Hatsuyuki have said they're going to be doing the series, so they're probably the group to go with, unless a better group that didn't do the preview decides to do it too.

I honestly hate religion. But I believe in religious freedom as well. I don't care what you believe in, just don't try to force your beliefs upon others. That is what I think.

Why? I can dislike religion, but believe that everyone should be free to believe what they want to.
