Why? I can dislike religion, but believe that everyone should be free to believe what they want to.

Correct. On the other hand, people here (and the Pope "Papa Ratzi") are telling others to "respect religous feelings", which is simply idiotic - neither the human rights nor the German constitution have such a passage. Thus, certain people get pissed when a muslim is sent to prison because of a "honour murder". Sorry dudes - this is germany, stick to the german law or GTFO.
Well, thats the thing, you can "believe" whatever you want but you cant always carry out your beliefs. I dont know of any honor killings over here, tho I have heard of them in other countries. However, every now and then you get a parent who refuses to get a child medical treatment and just let them die because its "gods will" and they should not interfere.

Honour killings happen everywhere where there's muslims(and probably shinto and whatever), you just haven't heard of it.

This happens all the time in flats. You hear someone rumbling at your door, catch your knives and go have a look ready to kill and bam.

Kaiji is indeed a very interesting show. One of the few non-hentai shows targeted at adults which I really like(d).

Na, I have heard plenty of it... In other countries. I was just saying that it is not a major issue in the states. The problem over here is with other religions, that's what I meant. There are a lot of Muslims in the states, tho not as many as Europe per capita, I would assume. Oddly tho, we never really hear about it happening in the US.

We have a different population demographic who commit most of the murders over here

Anyone have a pic of that one manga panel where a girl is laying on her bed and some dude starts trying to pull down her skirt, then she looks at him but turns back around with out saying anything?
I used to have that plus the whole collection of short stories that it comes from, but I managed to accidentally delete like 1000 pics off of my computer a week or 2 ago.
