@Nosebleeds: You have my sympathy. Nosebleeds are awful. In my youth I once soaked my entire shirt sleeve in blood at an airport. I almost couldn't get on the plane. -shudder- "Again" doesn't sound good, though. If it happens too often you may really want to see someone about it, unless there's a good reason for it.
I'm not a medical doctor, though, so maybe nosebleeds are pretty common and harmless. If it's due to minor breaks the frequency might go up with things like dry air and stress/increased blood pressure, for example. Still, if nothing else, blood loss could still be an issue to worry about, depending on length, frequency, and severity.

AFAIK, VLC uses all internal codecs, making it useful as a standalone player requiring almost no configuration, allowing you to play a good many encodes "out of the box". If KMPlayer is anything like MPCHC, you have more options for codecs and configuration, but also more headache if something isn't playing correctly for some reason.
Having said that, I still won't touch VLC for anything but SSs, for reasons I won't go into. Nagato Yuki and Hitler both have amusing things to say about it on youtube, though. XD
What is it choking on, though? There can be all sorts of ways a video "won't play". Lag, audio-desync, subs failing to render, et cetera, would all be playback issues. Judging by file size and container, I'm guessing 720p softsub TV release?
Morgan from Tears to Tiara. I think that's her, although I couldn't say which scene with 100% certainty, so I may be mistaken. Anyway, she's probably the most fanservice-y character in the series, which I found to be surprisingly lacking in fanservice for an eroge adaptation.
