Btw, CoreAVC isn't auto-correcting aspect ratios like ffdshow did. Any way to set this up?

reason i'm with KMPlayer it it lags far less than MPC and you can screencap with Overlay Mixer. (which you can't do in MPC)
as for your problem, "force VMR AR auto correction"?, KMPlayer auto corrects AR itself, though.

I'm guessing the problem is with coreAVC, because this is happening in both MPC and KMP (earlier, using default CCCP with MPC-HC gave corrected AR video, but uncorrected screenies).

Almost exactly, except I have CUDA enabled (which shouldn't make a difference)
Also, enabling or disabling Force VMR AR correction isn't making a difference.

Woot i'm back after reinstalling and several restarts. The upgrades made no difference, the tweaks you guys just provided also made no difference, forcing system priority back to normal on the players via task manager also made no difference. Please be advised that leaving the system priority on "abovenormal" or "high" will drastically slow down your video.
