On Topic though: Now I remember why I hated x3 Terran Conflict
Do tell. I quite like it, although it gets repetitive and annoying when I set autopilot and the autopilot pilots me into my own carrier and I die and don't have a recent save :|
Mission: Escort/patrol
Reward: 1000+ credits
Outcome:
Patrol was peaceful, no events of note.
Reward: since you didn't kill anyone you get 200 credits, tough luck, kill someone next time so they call cops on you. With 10 missiles on your ass each.
The Most annoying thing is you can do shit about it, if I could I would yell that it wasn't my idea that no one attacked teh sector so I could earn more cash, but if the contract says 1000 credits and takes 3 hours to complete, then why am I getting 1/5th of the reward if there was nothing to do other than watching empty space? Economy in that game is plain stupid. And I'm talking about a fresh game, not some game you downloaded a saved game from or ran dozens of scripts your way.
I do love the detail and vastness of the universe, but it's little details like that, that make a game suck balls from a new game
