vista sucks... you need an extremely high-in-resource machine to actually run it, and even so sucks up a lot of your ram and graphics...

I prefer XP SP2, thank you, though I actually prefer Unix. But then again, almost no games have compatibility with Unix, so I must use Windows...

Besides, Vista asks questions about everything. Like when you put in a CD, it actually asks you if you wanna open it... Why the hell would I put a cd in if I didn´t want to open it? |_|

Anyways, I suppose upgrading in a near future is unavoidable

SP3 for XP comes out this year, which adds some Vista security features, apparently.
Also, SP1 for Vista comes out this year too.

You can turn off the feature that asks you things like that, as for high resources I have to disagree in some ways.

you can turn all of those off. you can also configure your autoplay settings.

aghstnashell: google Autopatcher and install what's available so far, then get the rest off the M$ site (install SP2 before Autopatcher).
If you can wait, just wait for SP3. It's supposed to come out around the middle of this year.

i combined the object dock weather docklet with another docklet adn it sorta works good.. no 5-day stuff but current works

if anyone has a CPU thing that would help alot stand alone or in rocket dock thank you
