So I've had this laying around in a dark corner in my room for a good few years.

Decided to try and build it. It was open but only 1 or 2 bits are missing, nothing major, so far.

I only got 3 colours of paint, 2 of which are just shades of grey. So I'm only painting the exterior, assuming I can find something to use as a brush. Already had to improvise a few "tools".

Is there a thread for this stuff? If not there should be.

^ I was always interested in miniatures, never have gotten myself to get those (mainly as they're pretty expensive).

I used to do that a lot when I was young. Major ones are two battleships, too bad the other lost a part from the control tower. Then I have a few planes, both jet and WW2. A concord, one chopper and a few tanks. And wooden interceptor with three masts.

It's not the sort of thing I would do either, someone gave it to me. It's a nice break from gaming, anime and such though. Even if I do get frustrated over dropping that 2mm big radio and looking around the floor for it

On another note I liked the old smilies better, they were clearer.

I was looking at the gold lego article. WTF man... lego was cool when I was young... it wasn't THAT cool...

Speaking of lego, it was pretty much the "models" that the middle class kids played with if they couldn't afford actual models. Other groups of this genre were those fucking 3D puzzle things.

That shit was so expensive. Poor kids played with 2 dollar reject puzzles from large retailers. Those fucking 1000 piece ones with like 5 colors total.

Nah... just all the floor on the room once the lid on the container comes off.

Find a spot, pour out the LEGO.
Choose the LEGO, build the LEGO.
Find other spots on floor to place pre-built LEGO pieces, sorted LEGO pieces and completed LEGO pieces.

Multiply if friends/siblings are also engaged in LEGO.

I wish they'd use fluent English speakers in anime. It's so odd when you're listening to a "foreigner" in anime and they are speaking almost incomprehensible English. Well, I guess it beats having voice actors like this
