I got my plane ticket finally. Damn I can't wait. Looks like both times I have to get on the plane I won't get to sleep at all the night before. It's also going to be my first time flying on an airliner. So far I have only been up in a personal plane.

Yep, takeoff is fun, the rest of a flight is just noise and recycled air while crammed into a big tube with a cross-section of humanity.

I imagine I will be sleeping through most of the flight. The day I leave I have to drive about an hour and a half to the airport directly from work. Then on the way back my flight leaves at six and I plan on partying the night before and just staying up until I have to leave again.

Akuma better show me a good time while I am up there. Although he made need some protection since I get a "friendly" when I drink. ^.^

Sleep or watch movies.

The last flight that I went on I brought my DVR and watched Space Balls, then an episode of Band of Brothers.

Airtran gives you free headphones.

There is also an advantage to having a potable DVR

I <3 my DVR, I get 4 hours of video on a 7" LCD widescreen.

Mine is a lot smaller than yours. >.> I'll probably just listen to music on it and sleep. My screen is only 3.5" and I still haven't got the damn plug-in for it.

A simple "No thank you" would have been a lot better received I'm sure. The attendants are just doing a job how would you like to get told to "fuck off" when you're doing your job?

Most planes have normal 1/8" stereo headphone jacks now, those that don't use a standard 2-prong 1/8" mono jack setup (one for left, one for right).
It really is pretty loud in the plane, I used to put earmuffs over my earbud headphones to cut out the noise, it made the trips much more enjoyable.

No it requires a special firmware plug-in to actually play the movies I put on it. It only allows for one type of sound which I can't get a video converter to do. It such a bitch.

I dont have that problem with the AV700, so I cant help you there.
